I've lately finished my De-Agostini 1/8th scale E-type and did a colour change to red instead of the standard BRG. Only problem being in sanding the rear boot lid I have lost the JAGUAR sign.
Any ideas how to replace? attached is someone else's model, but it shows the badge.e-type rear badge.jpg

Oliver, may I suggest to send a mail to De Agostini customers' service asking for a replacement? The model is out of stock but I'd give a try, anyway.
This is the link:
De Agostini contact page
... it's in Italian but it's a standard module and I think that a translator could turn it in a fairly decent English.:relieved:
As a second choice, a 3D print of the badge could be a solution as well.

Thanks for the reply Andy.
The manufacturing process to produce the boot lid in British Racing Green overprints with the Jaguar logo. It is not an addition.
Having sanded down the boot lid to change the colour it rubs out the badge.
De-Agostini have been helpful to me already on another missing part. but this is not a missing part.
I don't know anything about 3d printing! Does anyone?
Regards
Oliver

I’ve had companies help me out when I’ve damaged parts during a build. De-Agostini may be like minded. What have you got to lose….

Sadly No Replies from Model Space - Emailed them twice

Oliver, I think that the 3D print/custom PE solution could be "the" solution.
I know there are several firms doing that service in UK. Here's one I know: it's in London.

Thanks Andy,

I contacted the London firm and they seem positively interested.
I will let you know how I get on.

Thanks again

Thanks for the acknowledgement Guys.
The attached photo is my car in 1968. I know it looks like a banana (cute colour then)
I traced it to be a racing car now in North UK.
Some cars last - others do not!
