Hi Jim, I do hope so, will not start straight away, needs another scan first, just hope they start ASAP

Hope it all works out Bob. Stay strong, we are rooting for you.

Morning Bob
Sorry to hear the op wasn't a clean sweep, but the radiotherapy should mop up the remains.
As everyone has said, be strong and we all wish you both the very best for the next few weeks.
I am sure you will both make it through.
Take care and our prayers are with you both.
Best regards
Steve H & Anna

Bob, just read the news, at least you have some treatment planned which is great news. Like every one here hoping all will be well .

Stay strong .

I have known a few people where it didn't work first time around and had complete success on the next round of treatment. All our thoughts and prayers are with you both

Now, I only thought this happened on TV!!

Just been to the hospital with Julie, for a scan to plan the dreaded radiotherapy.

Before the scan she had to drink 2 beakers of water then wait 30 mins. So we sat down in a room with another couple, then a nurse then popped in and put on a CD player to keep us entertained. It started up and played

"Can't live, if living is without you' by Neilson!!!

Slight delay and we all burst out laughing. The nurse popped up and joined in. She promised the CD will vanish soon lol

Nothing like keeping the spirits up...what a CD.:smiling6: Hoping for the best results for Julie, Bob.

Cheers,
Richard

I'm glad you could both laugh about it. Really hope Julie goes on ok. All the best.
Jim

Well that could have gone down badly, good job you all were able to laugh about it Bob .

Finally saw the consultant, however 2hr wait, aarrgghh. Lot of cheesed of patients in a warm waiting room. Julie was wound up a treat and was prepared to leave but I put my foot down, she was pleased in the end.

The bloody cancer has spread but is in small area and not considered a serious threat, a course of radiotherapy should stop it in its tracks.

23 daily treatments, 5 days a week , weekends off!! The hysterectomy has healed perfectly as well

Huge, huge, HUGE relief for Julie and me, massive weight of our minds.
