Welcome to the world of AB. having picked up one last year I've throughout thoroughly enjoyed it other than the the pod hiccup as I learnt the ropes.Today I finally took the plunge and bought and airbrush and compressor!
The airbrush is a Revell Masterclass, and the compressor is a BA1100 (Badger, I believe)
Some lovely purchase Andrew and a belated Happy birthday to you....21 again ehh:tongue-out3:Hi all
So a variety of arrivals this week, one 'needful' thing, some birthday presents (it was yesterday[4th]) and one courtesy of work - yes you did read that right!!

Barrels for the above. I know one is not the correct barrel but lengthwise it is the same as the kit and at this scale I figured the 0.0416mm diameter difference was worth paying the price for something that doesn't snap given the amount of handling it will see.

I didn't even ask for a new print of this book. New around £13. This is supposedly a used one and was only 83p, yet it looks like new apart from one faint thumb/finger smudge.

And free from work!!
I won a £25 Amazon voucher at work in a prize draw back in the summer.
The Amazon voucher was donated to the family spending pot so I could order this from Fleabay. I've always had a thing for WW2's big twin-engined fighters and came across this and thought why not?!?!? I have to say it is a thing of beauty and more than matches all the good things I have read about the Eduard ProfiPacks, of which this is my first but is unlikely to be my last!

Probably is. In a recent interview / tour of the Badger factory they were quite open about the fact that they bought all their compressors in, but did a little "tweaking" to help performance and durability.I may be wrong but that looks like an AS186 that gets rebadged by various firms and is used by quite a few of us on here, including me. I've never had any problems with it so far.
Nice score Si!!!This arrived the other day.....seems I’m developing a taste for these winged beasts
More than twice that mate! Either that or I was married at the age of 3 and had my daughter when I was eight!!!Some lovely purchase Andrew and a belated Happy birthday to you....21 again ehh:tongue-out3:
Hope you have a great birthdayHi all

Christmas came early! Zoe ordered these but she's out shopping so I sneaked a look before they get wrapped and hidden away until the big day :smiling5:
