Scale Model Shop

Latest Acquisitions (2020)

It was quite an investment Monica, but it looks like I'm in this for the long haul, so it's priceless if it stops me straining and making my eyesight worse.

A few more for the stash I said to myself no more so I ignored myself.
Peter we used to have a fantastic local shop Plastic Pastimes , proper shop every manufacturer you could think of if it came in plastic chances were him and his wife could get one for you ,they also did a awfull lot of mail order, talking with them one day they asked what I thought was their best selling model ,after running out of idea's Tigers Spitfires etc. Was shocked to learn it was the revell London bus sold them as fast as he could stock them ,he went on to explane you could obtain or make your own decals for practically anywhere so as to make your own local bus company bus. Today I was going through the storage shed and ran across these four trucks that I bought last winter sorry for the late post

This is so true Dave as I have managed the same. A seller was offering a kit as a scrap/defective item, so I grabbed it for € 5 and less than a tenner with postage,

After an inventory of it, the kit was 100% complete and just a bit built. Another one where the seller said it was a scrap/defective kit,

Again, all sprues other than one are sealed. The cradle is built and had 2 handles broken off (they are in the box). Kit is 100% complete and was € 18 delivered to the door. Yeah, there goes my "No Kit" rule in the trash again, BUT, they were bargains from hell.........

Nothing special or exciting but for £12.50 delivered it will do for me. It also has 5 figures so I may try my hand at painting them. Expecting another much more interesting box to be delivered in the next couple of days.

Andy.

Too bad they are the same as the ones I have, but spares are handy.

And it came with a free gift.

I bought a kit from there as I couldn't find it anywhere else, and got some free sprue cutters. They are surprisingly good so I use them for most things now, saving my posh ones for final trimming.

You're lucky they make a kit of this very late war "seven". I ended up having to bash one using the cargo bed from a M. B. 4500 truck and cutting up an AA " seven" for the cab and drive components.
Hope to see a thread on this soon. Rick H.

Mr Race sent me a link to this tiny tank hunter.

This is my first kit purchase in over a year.Bit of a Phantom fanatic,I like the USN and USMC F4S looking tired in TPS schemes in their final service years.Just got to get aftermarket decals.s-l400.jpg

Running low on cement, and since John had no Tamiya I thought I'd give these a go. Since Tamiya's formulas are well known it's probably very similar.

And yet more CA! My thin one has welded itself into the bottle, and I've heard good things about the gap filling one.

And it's a while since I did a helicopter so figured I'd try the newly reboxed Zvezda one.
