My latest Dio has just gone on steroids with a great deal on this:Screenshot 2021-06-08 at 11.24.27.png
Found online for a price too good to be true from 1001 models, with the contact details somewhere in the UK. Got nervous when the payment receipt was in French from a Paris address, as was the shipping address but fair enough, after a day at Customs arrived a week later. It is HUGE! I'm already torn on the paint scheme to go for. 90% of the reference pics are Black with Red 'undercarriage', which I really don't like, so to decide between all black and fairly weathered, or a camo variant, which I think would be pretty fictitious, but I like the thought of it.

These from FOG models to keep her company.

And a care package from John to help things along and replenish the stocks.

Should keep me going for a bit.

Ooh nice, hope you left John with enough for the rest of us :smiling:

Fleabay cheapy, thought I could use the bike with one of my trucks when I eventually get round to make a base/dio , as for the figures.....pretty poor! Something to practice on.20210609_174439.jpg

I can see that the the chit-chat is getting out of hand again.
When I get the time I will have a tidy up.

Hi Jack
That Liquid Reamer is marvellous stuff. A quick squirt and a blow through = a clean airbrush. Using it I very rarely need to strip down the AB. Looking forward to the monster chuff-chuff dio.

Wow, what a blast from the past. Hadn't heard "the Lindberg line" in decades.

Neil. Glad you like it it may have to brought to the front of the “What’s Next” build line.

Paul. Yes there are some oldies here glad I could shake up your past.

Good looking selection Lee. Those interwar navy planes are very colourful.

I've been a greedy boy and ordered some kits...

Morning all

So some arrivals this week.....

ATB.

Andrew

------------------------------

I don't play golf.....but our very own Tim Marlow has demonstrated just how good these are for putting small figures on when painting. In fact so good, this is my second batch.....I should have ordered a bigger batch last time!:smiling5: They're also wood and so will rot down if it ever comes to it.

Next up two purchases that mysteriously got ordered but means unknown........I'm blaming my phone....... ;)

First up, another addition for my 'Hunters and Hunted' collection. I'm blaming AlanG for this, after he introduced me the German 'Wilde Sau' night fighter concept.

Secondly, I have been thinking about getting a Beaufighter for a while, as it's one of my favourite planes and so finally plumped on this....

How many figures are you intend to paint at a time Andrew? I get by with a dozen tees, but you must have about forty
Not sure how you base your figures? I use 1p or 2p pieces because most of mine are plastic these days, and it adds a bit of stability to the finished gaming piece. These coins have been coated steel for around twenty years. I therefore glued magnets to the top of the tees and have been able to ditch the use of blue tack for holding them on while painting. They now just click on and click off.
Nice aeroplane kits by the way…..
