I usually hand paint the canopy frames - I seem to have difficulty in applying pre-cut masks!

I just mask and paint the horizontal parts first then the verticals after,I can never mask the corners properly.
Someone PLEASE send the Nurse round here ....... I`ve done it again!!:astonished:......
...... Despite my Huey still not arriving yet,i`ve gone and got ANOTHER Vietnam kit,(tis pretty cool mind:tongue-out2:!!).......
..... A DUSTER!!..... I really must stop now..... well,after the books and figures arrive that i`ve ordered this week!!

So this arrived at lunchtime......a complete departure for me.....but a suggestion from the above Andy aka 'The Smythe Meister' aka 'A very Decent Chap!!'
Why the 'Decent Chap' epithet????? Because it was free gift from him after he saw me by the Vietnam book 'Chickenhawk'.

That is a very nice kit, though beware that the tracks are very tight around the wheels.
Fantastic idea steve , I seem to remember in the back of my mind that some maker did a box of 1/35 pigeons , maybe Miniart or Masterbox ? Or have I had one too many gins ?
No, there is a box out there - think that John had them in stock a while ago.

Scorpion Miniature Models do a great range of mods for Scorpion and Scimitar,as well as FV432 etc.
the replacement track guard makes a massive difference to the finished model.

Hi Steve hope your good ,interesting I've got the Roden 1 /72 pidgeon version in the stash perhaps if I follow your build it might just push the button , great subject and it looks a really nice little kit but for some reason its taken up permanent residence in the stash. Dave
Actually not quite.....I have some 1/72 rabbits that you can just about see with a Mk I eyeball....1/72 scale! The pidgeons must be the size of dust particles :smiling5: :smiling5::thumb2:
