Latest Acquisitions (2021)

Big day on "sleaze bay" recently........found a bargain on rail cars and circus caravans that I have been trying to find for several years. At the same time I scored several vehicles I had been after to add to the collection. The Borgwards in particular will be useful to convert to B-3000 three tonners and the Brekina MB LF 25 is way more detailed than the one available from ROCO. I have never seen the Roskopf tandem axle trailers, they are very detailed regarding the wheels and canvas tarps. The ROCO MB 4500 with the two trailer road train was an item I hadn't seen before and with free shipping, couldn't pass it up. Rick H.P1011842.JPGP1011845.JPGP1011846.JPGP1011843.JPGP1011844.JPG

NEVER comment on my StuG stash sir;)

Though it’s not a photo book as such (it does have plenty), a good book about armour in that war is Vietnam Tracks by Simon Dunstan. I’ve had the original edition from the 1980s for over 30 years, but it was reprinted some years ago so should be more easily available than it once was.

Latest acquisition, re-acquired from the my dads barn yesterday, originally acquired by me 30 years ago. Survived well apart from some bird poop.

I'm pretty sure it'll end up with some rust issues...

Nice kit with lots parts & detail. came with a convertible hood but no mention in the destructions.

That's possibly a bridge too far, but I am tempted.

edit Cupcakes on the right were lovely, thanks for asking.

So you’re going to make a barn find out of this barn find then dan?

More Classic Revell Birds the Postman dropped off last week.
Another wave of nostalgia then Lee. I made the Tripehound and the Spad as a kid, but haven’t seen the others before. I remember the Spad being very robust for a WW1 bird. Extremely strong strut attachments!

This turned up from the Czech Republic , After MMM 200mm 'Obi wan Nairobi' is finished it will be next up to be tackled.

Yes this will be the one of the last waves. I thought the same about the Spad Tim. I think all three in the top pic were made in GB.
