Nice to see that Revell name their kit so that you can shout it out during construction.

Julie took in a parcel from a Hermes chap, a very large box, addressed to me, so got back from my mums, saw the box and racked my tiny brain, nothing on the way apart from 2 books but nothing that big so opened to find this, ( had a guts full of this photo loading)

Julie had looked at my ebay watched list and found this , so as a thank you for my support during this horrible time with her dads passing bought it without me noticing it, arranging postage to me with the seller, crafty monkey!!

Bit annoyed as i love her to bits and am helping as much as i can but not doing it for a gift!.

Told her off but she insists i have it. One lucky chap i can tell you

You help because it's the done thing, just her way of saying your appreciated.
Nice :thumb2:

VERY NICE gesture indeed by your Beloved there Bob :thumb2:......

Hi all

So I'm blaming Jim directly for one of the below and indirectly for the other one too!!! ;) :smiling5:

As advertised, Lidl are selling the below ultrasonic cleaner for £20. The basket does look quite small but I think I might be able to make it work, if not I'll just take it back.

Whilst buying the ultrasonic cleaner I happened to notice oil paints they had on sale; maybe not the best quality and only time will tell but at £5 for 24 18ml tubes it was worth a punt. As you may recall I'm just starting to dabble with oils and so I figured this set would be perfect. The colour selection appears to be surprisingly good and is actually better than appears to be the case on the back of the box!!

So thanks to Jim for his advance warning about the cleaner!!!:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Nice haul of bits there...nice, very nice.

As one of those weird individuals who doesn't like hot drinks...I could not understand the fuss in the queue behind me. I left a couple in the pot...

I guess it’s a sign of the times that I thought you had a hundred unused nose swabs there.

Actually, a good many years ago I just asked a member of staff in a local coffee shop if I could have a bundle for my modelling..... I'm still working though it even now!

Being the only one who bid on this it came to me at a very reasonable price.

Something else to satisfy my desire for off beat stuff.

Andy.

Via the wonders of FatFingers.com, got for two quid off eBog from someone who couldn't spell "scenery". For a gradually-being-planned future project (experiment).
