I thought it was an F-104 Starfighter at first … then I looked at the main part of the fuselage and realised it couldn’t be
Dave never knowingly under bought :thumb2:I've been looking at these, ever since they were released last year. The original Airfix model was changing hands at rich collectors prices & the new AZ model never seemed to dip below the £20 mark. After nearly a year of lurking on ebay, I got this..............

You clearly have more patience than I do Dave. I think I would have given it up as a bad job!! Well done.I've been looking at these, ever since they were released last year. Nice haul Tim. I'm lucky enough to have a LHS within walking distance but his main focus is RC aircraft (including jets!!) and so his kit and paint stash is pretty limited. That said he does have lots of useful supplies and had just started stocking evergreen styrene.Just come back from a local model shop……Signal models in Midsomer Norton. It’s about 18 miles away from where I live, but there is free parking so that’s a bonus. Not a bad shop at all, good varied selection, obviously skewed towards model railways (hence the name), but worth a visit if you are out that way. I managed to snag this…..
For the upcoming spitfire group build, and another box of these….
To keep the lawn ornaments on their toes….
That will be my second crack at the Goblins. I did that box a while back, but am going to go with some of the other options this time…..might be a while though.Hi Tim
Nice to know that model shops still exist. I look forward to the Goblins.

Good stuff Andrew. I used to have two when I lived in Salisbury, both plastic kit dealers. My closest now is very well stocked, especially paint, but I fancied a look somewhere else today, and I knew they stocked 28mm figures there as well.Nice haul Tim. I need to move! That will be my second crack at the Goblins. I did that box a while back, but am going to go with some of the other options this time…..might be a while though.
As to model shops Jim, I have two that are closer, another that is about the same distance, and two more a little further away….pretty good coverage really. If I travelled about another ten miles I could bring in another half a dozen….. This is just model shops stocking plastic kits, by the way, there are also specialist model railway and figure shops and manufacturers nearby.
I think it’s because I live in a rural area and shop rates are more reasonable. ….
Which of course means you're not an unreasonable distance from the Tank Museum.....man do I need to move!I forgot the FAA museum at Yeovilton, by the way Andrew. It’s about twelve miles away, and the shop was very good last time I went…..
Not so much.... Even though I work for one of of the most famous motor brands in the world..If you’re into cars, the Haynes motor museum is even closer……

These things happen :rolling:innocently surfing the bay for a new stone Birdbath that she`d like for the back garden, viewed LOADS of the things:fearful:,decided on one.......
.......... went to click on "Buy it Now",when............... Ooooops ................
True, and because it’s a fairly simple kit with few parts it may even get built sometime soon (but then, I think that about a lot of models …It's only money! I'll enjoy seeing it built. Hope the fit and casting is good. Not heard of Fan Kit Models.
