The original Special Hobby Beaufort had vac-formed canopies ( like plastic blister packing ), which was tricky to deal with - the later versions had injection moulded clear parts - much easier. Vac-forming was pretty common in the 70/80s, from mainly 'garage' manufacturers, who specialised in unusual subjects. Tooling for this process was generally home made, labour intensive, had a high reject rate & didn't last long. Not something that is common, these days.........I see on the box, it says Canopy is injected. Any idea what that means? I'm pretty new to this so it may mean nothing special. I've just never seen it before.
