Scale Model Shop

Latest Acquisitions (2023)

Had a rather large parcel delivered I can give you a an idea what's inside
The dimensions are 188cm or 6 feet 2 inches long.
A scale of 1/144IMG_20230607_105210.jpgIMG_20230607_110222.jpg

Not been around for a while with my dad being ill but been thinking about various different projects.
Picked this up for one of them, stick some masking material down then use the etched shapes to guide your knife for cutting out camo blobs. The reverse has bigger blobs.
Have another one for digital camo on the way.

My brother had the same experience. Thankfully he's clear now, but spent much of the first Covid year in hospital.

Not done a 1/48 AFV before,( stuck in 1/35th world!!),but am considering doing so... Purely for the space saving in the cabinet when they're finished ;)
Also, I've a few ammo brush sets, really nice to use and good value for money too IMHO :smiling3:

It's incredible how model shop personnel carelessly stack kit boxes on the shop shelves: all that falling down could become harmful to customers!;):tongue-out3:

I've done a few of these Tamiya ones and they go together really well. More detail than a 1/72 but like you say, take up less space than a 1/35

OK, so I went a bit silly with the credit card....

As are the two figures - more will be ordered later.

Lovely stuff Mike. Really interested to see how the CSM armoured car turns out. Never made one of their kits, but they really are tempting…..
The Roden must be a post apocalyptic subject though. Unless I’m going insane (a distinct possibility) it says WW3 on the box front…..
