This arrived yesterday.



To explain, the “curse” struck again during my Soviet GB Hurricane build. I found that one of the wing landing lights was missing, I presume I lost it during the build.
It is very prominent and not something I felt I could scratch build very convincingly.

So I decided to get in touch with Arma Hobby to see if they could help and indeed they could :smiling4:

They sent me this free of charge :surprised:



A new clear sprue with the required part.

Not plastic but collected my new desk top PC today.
1TB ssd
32mb ram
12 GB 4060ti graphics do-dah.
Works well just need the updates to run through, install a few programs...and a million passwords and user names to sort out lol.

Just checking.... Did you actually mean 12GB of RAM? If so, a very nice set up!

And came away with a joint first with this...

Also one of the other members came in with this for me...

For my long delayed Scud build...
So I guess that after the 109 Doher I had better pull my finger out and finish it.

Solved the problem but even with John's keen pricing and the discount it still cost north of £60! I suppose it's like cars - own a Porsche and pay a hefty price for spares. Hey-ho though, it's nearly Christmas, I'll just spend less on the wife's pressie. I've seen a nice pair of sock on the market :thumb2:
