Arrived today. The Helix has dropped down the list. This is the next build after the 'King' is finished.

Ugly - yes. But functional and what a blast. It operated from small ships for nearly all my service career. (25 years). Great to work on, even more fun to fly. One hydraulic system which if memory serves me was from the aileron from one of the WW2 big bombers!!!
Sprue shots, not a lot, it's only 1/72 and wasn't the biggest helicopter on the planet.

10 page A5 instructions. + clear parts and decals. (Decals cover 4 variants) 829 NAS, 845 NAS, 860 Sqdn Royal Netherlands Navy and New Zealand Wasp off HMNZS Canterbury.

Plastic parts. Including the AS12 missile booms but NOT the AS12 missiles. (Aftermarket bit which I will probably acquire). Not bothering with the aftermarket Mk44 torpedoes. Would never fly with both due to weight limitations.

Looking forward to getting stuck into this.
I notice on the instruction it shows the wheels fitted fore and aft front and back - that would NEVER be the case. So mine will be either sea borne mode or land mode.
Can't wait to get the Sea King finished now.
Oh - having TWO kits waiting - does that mean I have a 'stash'?????:tears-of-joy:
