Hi all

So some purchases from the past week, mostly from last week's show (pics to follow).

Even if I do say so myself, I really was quite pleased with the show purchases!

So first up some masks for recent-ish wingy acquisitions....online purchases.








In terms of show purchases....here we go


As you can see, only picked it for £5 but it currently goes for £15 new....and even more second hand if you can believe it!?!?!?!?!?








I picked up the Micro sol/set bottle holder to prevent a disaster...not knocked them over yet but bound to happen at some point in the future!!

As for the barrels, I found these in a model shop's large rummage box at the end of the day. Normally I don't bother for the Airfix kits I do because of the cost - about £11 each and so as much as the kits....but at £5 for both, I thought why not! There are a couple of planes that I plan to go the extra mile on that these will work well for.






Wasn't looking for any kits in particular but this really caught my eye. It's Eduard's reboxing of the apparently excellent (if apparently quite complicated) Zvezda kit, plus of course all the Eduard extras, including a bagful of Brassin resin parts. This is long out of production and is very hard to find when you do (currently £50+) and the Zvezda boxing currently goes for £27 on it's own.....but this only cost me £30! Most pleased was I!

Nice haul. I’ve seen the Eduard limited editions really do end up being limited and getting them afterwards takes a lot of searching - that and plenty of £££’s

Good old AS 186 rebadged....many people I know have used this....I've had mine for eight years and it's still running fine..

I have had a few sessions with it now Andy and I love it.
