I saw this on a web site the other day and thought I would give it a go. I am impressed at how easy it is and how good the results are. Put neat PVA/white glue in a bowl and mix in the colour of your choice. Next on a piece of glass smear a very thin layer of vasaline. Then using a large brush paint on the mix then let it dry totally.
Next peel off and form into the tarp or bed etc. of your choice. it is so easy I cant believe i have never thought of it.

Hi guys it does seem to work well but as to the longevity of it I cannot say will have to wait and see.

very interesting

like you say, wonder how long it will last?.......certainly long enough to take pics to post on a forum lol

Interesting. Definitely something to try instead of my usual tissue paper.

Thanks for sharing.

Paul that does look good, and well worth a try.
I've just used some VMS Paper fold, a lot dearer than this though, but looked good.

Thanks for all the feed back. I tried a few different varnishes to check there was no issues. Then I tried CA it does melt the film a certain amount so I applied the CA to the model then pressed the roll to this and it worked fine.

Hi Paul I thought I'd try your PVA glue tarpaulin tutorial only my first go and it came out pretty good will certainly have another go thank you.
Well impressed.
