What ever is it is one big power plant , will we have a long wait ?

I have often wondered what an Abnormally Aspirate V-12 be like. :smiling2:
Now Now, -it's the correct term! Abnormal would be supercharged or turbocharged - although now loads of car engines have turbos - so maybe that's the new normal!
Dave

Robin Reliant with a little bit of upgrade?
Off topic, but what did the poor Reliant Robin do to deserve its name being reversed? Nobody speaks of a Midget MG or a Minor Morris, so why does Reliant Cars' finest have to suffer in this way?

Joys of being dyslexic Pete. I sometimes write things the wrong way around and don't realise until it's pointed out later or i see it later on

Sorry to hear that, but you're not the only one Andrew, many people call it a Robin Reliant.

Anyway. Sorry to take your thread off topic James.

Please upload some more pics when progress. I'd like to see more of this.

Don't think it's Ferrari as they would normally have side draft Webers and that looks like it's supposed to have 12(?) SU type carbs.

Just pulling your leg...its often mentioned during F1 commentating.
Back to figuring out what James has built.

Cheers,
Richard

OK, sticking my neck out - v 12 engine for a Ferrari Testa Rossa - maybe 1958? Testarossa means 'redhead' in Italian, so that's a big clue!

Don't think it's a Testarossa. The original had 6 twin choke downdraft Webers with paired Ram Pipes. The offset nature of what I assume are meant to be carbs on the top of the model would exclude that particular engine. Unless, of course, it's just been badly represented.
