Morning All

I’m in the market for a new electric mini drill/multi tool and was looking at getting the proxxon 60/e or the other option was getting the Dspiae PRO Reciprocating Electric Sander and the dspiae orbital drill. Any advice on which one to go for for basic work on model Aircraft and Tanks, pro and cons etc

I've had the Proxxon 60e for a couple of years now and really like the fact you can dial the speed right down so as not to melt plastic. Downside is the need to get all the kit out to plug in the transformer and then the drill. Other Proxxon 12v tools can be added for quite reasonable cost once you've bought the transformer.

Yes, I am a Dspiae fan boy, but their tools seem to be well made, good quality, and having had the above for a while and used them enough now to obtain an informed opinion, they do work well.

An alternative might just be to get a generic "Dremel" type drill/multi tool?
Or, just stick to hand tools/sanding, etc.
TBH, I tend to use a combination of all the above depending on what I'm doing, how much work needs to be done, etc.
Cheers
