Hi Mike
A warm welcome to a great forum. Some great models there, the rigging alone is a big job. I like the horse drawn ambulance in particular.

What an introduction! Great stuff on display, and a good range of subjects. Love the square rigger especially. Very warm welcome from me Mike.

Thanks all been looking for a site to sped my wings a bit, I really enjoy taking on new subjects, I do allot scratch building in my work so a good friendly site with a broad range of knowledge just the ticket

Warm welcome Mike, good to have another ship modeler that does other genre as well. Nice intro and nice models.

Cheers,
Richard

Mike,
welcome to the forum! Love your ambulance - I suppose adding reins etc was childs' play after rigging your frigate/corvette? ( Constellation? ). Of late we seem to be attracting more & more ship modellers ( I used to frequent ships of scale, but it was a bit too specialist for me ).

Thanks Dave ya the Rattlesnake was a tough rigging job, the build took me 7 years , ok I did not work on her every day, the ship very little space to work within , it got to the point that just doing a few lines required about a days prep just to figure out how to get them in the right place, drove me nuts . The Mule rigging was very much a learning experience, as was painting them luckily for me I received some great research material from the US Army veterinary Museum, who also run a nice piece on this build. By the way the Ambulance was built to honor my Grandfather who was a wagoner during the Serbia AEF 1919 mm3.JPG

Welcome to the forum Mike and that's a great intro. You definitely chose a great place to come and show of your skills. We have probably the best community out there so enjoy your stay.

Mike,
A warm welcome from me too. Your models look stunning.
Regards,
John
