Your a brave man to destroy a great build. However the end result is unique and stunning. Luv it a lot. Looking forward to seeing the final reveal

Hi Ian
That is an excellent and unique result. A real silk purse from the sow's ear you started from.
Jim

Pete,

What a fantastic build Ian and a great way to show it off on the wall, great idea
Top job

Ian .
Great job, like the idea of hanging on the wall.:thumb2:
John.

That really is a piece of art. To add that bit of colour into a grey, dark sombre build is a stroke of genius. It reminds me of the girl in the red coat in Schindlers List. A wonderful tribute to all those flying heroes of WWI. You must be very pleased:thumb2:

Thanks Steve, I did get the idea from the film, and like you said I did enjoy this build and I'm rather pleased with the outcome.

One of my favourite aircraft.
Ended the Fokker Scourge, along with the wonderful Nieuport 11.
An aeromotive icon for certain.
Good luck with this one. Treat it like creative meditation; it's all about being in the right state of mind...

Forgot the FE2. That also did sterling work in 1916.
My apologies to the RFC.
