Building this for the year two children at the school I work at. For there Dino project.
Looks good :) ....
I'd fancy doing something like that, but I don't think I could get painting consistent enough, regarding skin texture, over such a large area. :(
Will be interested to see how it develops. :)

At least you won't get anyone saying your colour choice is wrong! :smiling:
Paleontology has recently developed a way to determine dinosaur colouration Jim, so don’t bank on it…….can’t be long before AK or someone else bring out a range of accurately matched dinosaur paints……

What a great thing to do Ian. I'm sure the kids will love it! Also looks like the Stego nibbled on the box corner too...

Prost
Allen

Looking forward to the heated arguments on the correct shade of T rex brown , and seeing if anyone claims to have some original colour swatches!:smiling5:

Leap'n Lizards! just found this one Ian.....great idea for the kids at school. I remember you doing something similar with a space craft awhile back. And like the others are saying, you won't have to worry about rivet scale counters picking it apart. Will this go on a base with perhaps some vegetation to set it off? Might generate a lot of creative interest in the classroom. :thumb2:

Often wondered how the Tamiya Dino’s built up and it looks pretty good save a bit of filling.

Going together nicely Ian, look forward to seeing the painting stage :thumb2:
