Had this on the bench for a long time, uninspired by the kit. But then last week once it was built I really enjoyed the painting process and in the end really had fun with it! 90BB05D5-8333-4248-AC6D-AD223BFBB470.jpeg80EDAABA-81D5-46FE-9025-C9918E15D5C2.jpegE9B6C5A8-8E03-4B58-8AAF-ED4D041BE860.jpegDB87036E-71E9-43C8-92BE-C5ACF91A38D6.jpeg46F94AD5-54B9-4F33-B732-448B53DCE67D.jpegA8ADC164-0DE0-423C-8B68-02DCC12E065C.jpeg1585BEB3-4743-47B8-BA0D-E1DB9CF67A61.jpegC37525BD-3B4E-498F-A1DB-250AFC782E59.jpeg74C15346-4892-4CDC-B98A-2ED0CE184005.jpeg553B1CF4-5519-40B1-9828-73B3C0B487F9.jpegFDD354F7-6E00-4D76-B1F2-BAD1A727F90D.jpegDE007244-6BCE-4459-A001-F7B300D1D957.jpeg74556BB7-A7C4-401E-B795-8369E0C90FC5.jpeg

Nice job Russel, the engine looks really good. I built the Tamiya version of 'Big Hog' and its exhaust outlets are at the bottom of the engine cowling. I think Revell and Tamiya need to have a chat.

Well it's a very nice exhaust effect you have created. It's something I normally struggle with.
I’ve used oils to good effect but this is just airbrush. I think I prefer the oils as you can obviously shake it for hours if you want whereas the airbrush is more or less a done deal.
