Just needed a mojo buster as I seem to muck up everything I touch lately I do believe this is the reboxing of the 1993 academy kit but I am pleased with the result.
And what's with the bit of wood at the tail see the bottom pic despite all the weight in the nose it's still a tail sitter IMG_20210615_190654.jpgIMG_20210615_190659.jpgIMG_20210615_190704.jpgIMG_20210615_190729.jpgIMG_20210615_191008.jpg

Lovely job pete , not surprised its a tail sitter , theres an awful lot of aircraft hanging out behind the main wheels ! I saw one of these flying the other week as I was coming up the M11 , it was doing touch and go landings at Duxford , beautiful aircraft . Cheers tony

What's not to like about the Cat...big wings, gun blisters, foldable wing floats. Lovely build Peter. :thumb2:

I have the old Airfix built rivets and all...sadly someone nicked the cockpit canopy. I have the Academy Blackcat and will build that someday.

Cheers,
Richard

Superb work Peter. Clean& nicely presented.

Built the 1/48 version it is a big aircraft.

Great history finding the Bismark & the Japanese Fleet at Midway.

One in all white used to come to the Battle of Britain Jersey display but that has fizzled out. Shame it was doing tours around the Island.
So busy at the time to take a trip. Although I did see the bird in the raw at jersey airport.

Nice work Peter. It certainly is a purposeful looking aircraft.
