This is the new tool Royal Navy boxing of the Buccaneer kit. I used an Xtradecal sheet and painted this up as an early 12 Sqn jet.
Enjoy.

Hi Rick
That's a great model. Excellent photos with the back drop.

Who couldn't love a Buccaneer - and that one is definitely worthy of an affair!

Very nice. I've built the RN version, but still want to build this one as well. It was a great kit to build.

Beautiful job rick , a superb aircraft and a superb looking model . The new tool Airfix looks like a great kit .cheers tony

Makes me wanna get one Rick, beautiful build. Can that version be made into the Desert Storm version?

Cheers,
Richard

Very nice indeed Rick.
Love the background , enhances the photo.:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Excellent work Rick. Really fine example of a British Cold War warrior.

Out of the box, no. The later RAF boxing most likely can because it has the designator and weapons as well as the later bulged bomb bay door and some other minor additions. You will also have to source aftermarket decals for an Op Granby Buccaneer.
I have the RAF boxing which is earmarked for a Granby build but at my build rate Airfix will issue one before I get round to mine.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

The back scene is an off cut from a model Railway backscene I had for a while.

Wonderful build Rick, there have been so many RN versions around it feels like an age since I've seen AN RAF version built.
