Might well have been that Tim, this would have been in the early 60's . Woolies was the favorite shop on a Saturday for buying a model. Does that sound right ?

Just a quick update on this,coming together now,not sure I'll attempt the rigging to be honest, I have a 1.28 spad bit of crappy looking kit but probably a good one to have a go at rigging given the size of it.
Coming on very nicely indeed.

Bit of weathering done on the topside now, machine gun and some clear parts to go on after a matt coat and some exhaust soot down the sides.
My have a go at rigging,got to try it at some point as I really like building these biplanes.
