It snowed most of yesterday, only very lightly, then apparently a bit more in the night... And its just starting up again.
Not going out in that!

The view from the back door, a bit blurred, no flash and night function on the mobil. It was rather dark.

Im glad I dont 'have' to shovel snow...
Hows your part of the world looking!

We awoke to a little snow this morning. Only a very light dusting, nothing compared to what you have Ian, but it was still a surprise! 2023-11-3007.32.274452988506386666688.jpg

Just a couple of sleet flurries.
Although a couple of youths were shouting snow!!!
(Probably inthe hope they’ll close the schools) :rolling:

Just a bit of frost but then we're almost as far from the sea as you can get here in Blighty!

Same here.
Horrid stuff, snow. Cold, wet, and slippery. I can't see why some people enjoy it.

Very cold but sunny here in Shropshire. Snow looks pretty but is better looked at out of the window.

Be prepared for the BBC (British Bulls... Collaborators) to drag out the news at lunchtime. They will have dragged all the reporters back from Ukraine and Gaza (where they have never been but believe every word) to position them in the deepest snow they can find to report on how the country is now coming to a standstill - thought the country was there already.
Just looked out the window - weather forcast - fog at first, temp cold, sun now out and scorching your eyeballs out, later it will get dark and the moon will appear... That is the news and weather...
In other news the girl is one today.... we are still on the Vallium and drip fed scotch....

Rainy here, temp around 5 °C; probably snowing above 600 m (1900 ft).

Get the waders on you are due for floods... Had to go to a delivery NE of Udine, came up to an old Baily bridge - either I was too wide or the bridge was too narrow. Local guy said follow me, down we went into a field next to the bridge, and he wanted me to follow him across a dry river bed, said it was ok, another truck came past and went straight across so I followed... Found the factory, went to bed, got up next morning and saw I was parked in 6 inches of water... Got unloaded and thought, ok back to the bridge and job done.. followed another truck and we both came to a screeching halt, there was no river bed, just a torrent of water... Took us four hours to get back to the autostrada....

White here already.

Squirrels have been running along the rail on our deck.

Don't miss Buffalo, NY on nights like this. Have to use power lines & stop lights to find the road.

No snow down south in St Albans. Its bloody cold though and was frosty earlier. We do do get snow here but not that often and when we do it causes chaos. Personally I love it when it snows.

I remember driving down the M27 after a moderate fall of snow many years ago. I was taking it easy, driving smoothly at a slowish speed due to the conditions. I was, however, being followed by a Robin Reliant that was lurching all over the road. I wondered what on earth was wrong with the driver…..then the penny dropped. I was driving in the relatively clear wheel ruts either side of the lane, but the poor bloke in the reliant had to drive over all the icy rubbish piled up in the middle
