Hi Dave little look at it on the modeling news web page shows it in Moscow sports club livery 37-41 so perhaps a civil truck press ganged into millitary service?.

It has a WH plate in the box art, which seems to indicate a vehicle pressed into German Army service (WH = Wehrmacht Heer). Maybe there was a production line in Russia making these, or perhaps it was just a one-off built by a local garage?

Tow/lift gear looks similar to that used on 38t Bergepzr. Likely Ostfront field expedient IMHO (no bed or rear fenders). PaulE

Dang it...I haven't built my 1/72 Beaufort and now one is coming out in 1/45. I'm sure the OV-10 Bronco has the right spacing between the hull and engine nacelles. The old Testors kit measurements are short.

On the Gecko Facebook page - I commented before they were Anglophiles. this confirms it!

Border Models are releasing in 1/35 a Bf109 G6 and a Ju87G Stuka (apparently taken from Trumpeter moulds). Very strange scale to release in but i suppose (for the Ju87G at least) there are diorama possibilities.

Really? The machine gun mounting was about the first thing I spotted Also, I know someone who has a — very rusted — real one of those in his shed … the machine gun mounting, that is, not the vehicle.
