The Versuchstraeger VT-2 was a concept replacement for the Leopard 1 - a couple of prototypes were made, but it was realised that it had more negatives than positives...............

This is such a cool-looking vehicle … I had never heard of it until I bought a bunch of military trade magazines from the 1970s, which included an article on this, and immediately started thinking about how to scratchbuild a model of it with Leopard kit parts. I’m glad now that I never actually started on it :)

That last one will be half the length of my car....ok, so that's a bit of an exaggeration but it will be just over 2ft long...... :surprised:

New mouldings with 6 crew, metal barrel & PE ( the old Dragon 88mm Flak36 had all of these in 2005 ). It's not clear if there is a special edition, with the model supplied in a tin - or all are supplied this way. Just a sales gimmick - better a lower price without it!

I think the special edition bit are the figures Dave. Sculpted by some bloke called Jason, who does their box art it would seem.

You're probably right but to make one, I'd go for an Ardennes diorama
 
Been laid up for the last week with Covid and just about feeling up to going online and spotted this.
This is a great starting point for anyone wanting to get into 3D printing and from Elegoo there is no shipping charges and arrives within 2-4 business days. Currently on Amazon at £475 with a £75 voucher, I got one last night for £318 and that's on Paypal 3 pay to spread the cost over 3 months.

Taken off Britmodeller.

AIMS to close;

I was at the hospital yesterday to see the latest MRI reports and received the sickening news that I have the rare Kienböck's disease! 3 out of the 8 bones in each hand have large cysts in them as the bones are being killed. There is no cure and it is progressive. So this together with carpal tunnel syndrome has basically stopped my life in its tracks these last 15 months and it is now impossible to continue with AIMS. I am still trying to process the shocking news and as the only way to slow it down is to do almost nothing I have to decide how best to use the years I have left with my hands as they are before they get worse. I am in terrible pain 24/7 and there is currently no medication to help this condition. It is a bitter blow for me as I had hoped limiting distribution to just Hannants would enable me to keep going but I cannot even fold an A-4 paper in half without difficulty and can hardly drive so I need to make plans to stop."

Personally i am gutted. Pastor John's products are great and i have two of his Ju88 conversions to use up
