For my first bike build I'm happy with how this has turned out. It takes quite a different approach to other genres, but one that I really enjoyed.

No doubt I'll be making more of these, I'm just praying for more luck with the decals next time 😂

That really is superb, I think I may be converted. Even though I’ve never ridden a motorbike in my life.

Turned out so well I might be tempted to buy a bike kit myself one day, never thought I'd say that lol. You did a wonderful job on this, looks like you can just start it and go for a ride - well done sir 👌

Thanks for the brilliant comments guys.

Neil - I've never owned a bike myself but did ride a couple of my brother's when I was younger. The bug just never bit.

Steven - go for it! I really enjoyed this, apart from the obvious bit, which was hopefully a once in a lifetime issue!

Beautiful result Andy. It’s got a real convincing vibe about it. I’ve only done a couple of bikes myself, but when I did it felt like building a real one, which I did twice as a kid. As you say, it needs a different approach to other genres because you build and finish the sub assemblies and then add them to the model as you go along.

Thanks Tim. I really enjoyed the process so no doubt I'll build a few more. I'm sure there will come a point when they get a bit samey, so will have to add variety with other genres.

I'd prefer off road bikes, but there doesn't seem to be as wide a variety of that style.

That looks superb Andy, hard to distinguish it from the real machine.
I have never attempted a motorcycle and after seeing yours don't think I will now.
No way I could attain that sort of realism, i'll stick to older non shiny vehicles

Haha, thank you, but don't let my efforts put you off.

There are some incredible bike builds on here and I thought I'd never be able to get close to that standard. The kit helped a lot. Since you have to paint everything before assembly it allows you to focus on one or two parts at a time.
