Merry Christmas everyone,
we shut down between Christmas and New Year so no working for me these days, used to work Christmas Day in the past, but only had to go in for 2 hours to check equipment was running properly. Used to do that first thing and be home before the rest of the family were up.

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everybody (grinches included). To those who do not celebrate this particular festival I would like to say Happy Holidays.
John.

Christmas period is great but bl--dy expensive! Wedding Anniversary today, Vehicle tax by the 31st, MOT last week, In-laws descending again (shouldn't be such a good cook and convivial host I'm told), several family birthdays throughout the period, car insurance by 31st, New Year Bacchanalia, and Kate's birthday on the 15th of January :tears-of-joy: ! Fortunately, the stash and wine cellar are well re-plenned and I have a proven ability to live on left-overs! I'm not complaining really but I do feel deeply sorry for those in less fortunate circumstances and try to help if we can :anguished:

I don't do Christmas now, 12 years in the army always away or doing palace duties, and 30 years on the road arriving home xmas eve then out again Boxing Day has taken the edge out of it.
BUT A HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL - said loud for the benefit of the hard of hearing.

Merry Christmas chaps, have a good one and a great New Year too :smiling4:

Like you Geoff, only two out of twenty-four Christmas's with a family and then on the moors or on the mountain (through choice),it was only when I met Kate in '02 that her and her family introduced me to the spirit of Christmas - and I'm grateful for that! What Guards?

Haven't celebrated Christmas at home since 2018 with renovations to the home before scooting off to Sydney after the New Year then running around the peninsular hosting my sister and inlaws in 2019 and then the pandemic hit so kind of deflated spirits but am still cooking the Christmas trappings and distributing to my siblings.
It'll be quiet this year as the monsoon has hit the east very badly and it's been raining constantly here preparing for any eventual flooding even if we're in the west. Daughter is busy with her PhD studies and research and will likely go into the lab. SWMBOs company has just moved to a factory and is busy overseeing the renovations and moving. I'll have dinner ready for them when they're back...stuffing and all. :smiling2:

Merry Christmas Everyone...stay healthy and pockets jingling. Keep the plastics moving and fingers from nicks and glue.

Cheers,
Richard aka Wabble

Myself and Julie would like to take time to wish you ALL, the very best regards for the season.

It's been a truly horrible year for Julie and you will never know how much your messages of love and support has meant to us both. Getting a bit emotional sorry. Cannot wait for 2022 to go!!

The many PM's sent to me were nothing short of amazing, hopefully we are past the worst and that light at the end of a long and horrible tunnel is now so much brighter.

Sorry to ramble on but I am so grateful, especially to Chris, Al, John, Tim and Ian. Thank you ALL from both our hearts

All our love Bob & Julie x

A merry Christmas to everyone, families, grinches, grumpies and whatsoever included :smiling3: and a happy and healthy 2023 (which is going to be my final retirement year...:relieved:) full of plastic, paints, glue and friendship
... and greetings from a furry friend too.
