Here we are at sprue central. Very clean mouldings and I expect the fit to be just as good. Three crew figures are included , and I will probably do them this time. There is a small decal sheet, a few poly caps, a small clear sprue and a length of cord to make the tow chains. I’ll replace the cord with picture wire because it sits better on the model.

Usual stuff, potted history, tech tips, and instruction booklet with black and white painting profile. Doesn’t matter that it’s in black and white though, because it comes in any colour you like, as long as it’s green….

Looking forward to this, though modelling time is a bit limited at the moment, because I think the vehicle is an interesting concept. Having a rear mounted gun is a great design idea for an ambush weapon that is basically set up to shoot and scoot…..not sure how effective it was in combat though, because the occasions when it could do this must have been few and far between when fighting a beaten and retreating enemy. Making an all over green scheme seem interesting is an interesting challenge as well.

These were very interesting vehicles. Always thought the open turret was bit risky.
Looks to be a lot of plastic. I'm sure it will be a great build.

Cheers Jim. The open top isn’t that risky. Remember they are basically mobile anti tank guns, not assault vehicles, so fulfil a different role.

Thinking a little more, if they had been used as assault guns they would be attacking in reverse, with the driver looking over his shoulder 😂

Nice one Tim , interesting subject . Looks similar to the german Wespe ( i only know that because I did the old Matchbox 1/76 ages ago !) . Looking forward to seeing this one build up. , cherrs tony

Thanks Tony. More like the Marder than the Wespe though. That, and the fact when it drives away the gun sticks out the back…..

Ah , didnt realise that Tim , thought it was like others where the gun is pointing forward . Perfect vehicle for deterring tailgaters though  (y)
