Does this mean you will be nice to us from now on ?Well the story is I just stopped working five years ago. Lets just say that I was a train reck, so the misses put me out to grass.
This 'senior pension' thing is first a possibility 6 years befor State pensions age. I was expecting them to say no, so I was very happy to get that letter. This will be replaced by the state pension when I turn 68.
That Mr. Race rather depends on how one behaves! :tears-of-joy:Does this mean you will be nice to us from now on ?

I know what you mean Steve, now if I could get my wife to stop finding things for me to do..........Retired 13 years ago, military pension from 40 and Local Government pension on retirement at 60; State pension kicked in some 8-9 years ago but to be honest I get very little of it as it's termed 'Unearned Income' and I lose most of it in tax on the other two! I work occasionally for the benefit of my wife's school and she keeps me on my toes by finding a range of "... things to stop you from getting bored Love ... " :rolling:
Steve
Brilliant news. Funny thing though, I have noticed at work, the conversation is less beer and women, and more pensions and the future.I am now officially a Pensioner.
Which means you can probably see my old college on the west side of Windermere. Then again, the trees have probably grown since I was there.I'm now a skipper on the pleasure passenger launches on Windermere
Or recipes ... !Brilliant news. Funny thing though, I have noticed at work, the conversation is less beer and women, and more pensions and the future.
You loved the Brecons? :surprised: Masochist ... !Nice job Paul. I have walked many a mile around its shores and paddled almost as many in it in a kajak. Loved it in the Lake district and the Brecon's. We got the lakes here but hills and mountains? not so many.
Nice office.
Thank you Ian , the answer I thought you might give :smiling3:That Mr. Race rather depends on how one behaves! :tears-of-joy:
