What did you fly in today?

I was in the cockpit of the Vulcan and the Victor nose section at Coventry yesterday. Does that count? :D

After two weeks in Iceland I'm heading home on a Boeing 757-200, you don't see many of these in Europe these days.

I like the 777. The 757 and 787 are pretty good too, but I don't think I have a preference. Most of my trips are short haul around Europe so mostly A320 family.

The A350 is supposed to be similar to the 787 inside but I have yet to sit in one. The cabin air in the 787 helps on those 12+ hour long haul trips. Not like the 737 where you get an occasional whiff of burning Jet A1... Listening Mr Boeing?

Something a bit different, my ride from Luxembourg to Heathrow by Qatar Airways. Courtesy of striking BA cabin crew.

I haven't flown in one of these beasts, but if you have a spare 11,500 Euros burning a hole in your pocket you can book an acrobatic flight in one of these (Minus the armament!) the price doesn't include travel to Russia or accomodation, that price is for the flight only. If you have even more money burning a hole in your pocket you can book an 'edge of space' flight which costs a good few thousand more. The fact this is even possible gives me goosebumps

My weekly ride home from Glasgow to Stansted. Easyjet A319 or A320. My flights back are on Ryanair 737-800's. In the background is the British Airways hangar where im currently working. Pity i cant just strole across and get on the flight!.

Not an aeroplane this time but it does have a port and starboard.
I once crossed the channel by Hovercraft. It was one of their last services before being scrapped. The funny thing was, it was a flight. We had a flight time and they also handed out those little hot towels like they used to on aircraft. I'm sure there was other 'aircraft' references as well, but it was a long time ago.
