What's on the Bench? 2021

Damn caught me out once again 570, actually believed you were taking up diving as a new hobby and using it for researching war time wreaks.

Matron could you up my meds please.
Now totally confused of Broadmoor .
Likewise....

453.
Sorry to read you are under matron's clutches once more. You really must stop getting yourself all worked up and confused over a bit of plastic! Bad for the soul......

I know you say its gravel and filler, but it looks like the weetabix is out again Ron…..
Coming on nicely though.

Tim, I don't tell porkies ;) It is crushed gravel and filler. Trust me, I'm a Doctor....

Dan, it was like stopping was an afterthought for automotive engineers. Brake fade definitely has a pucker factor. I was really surprised when restoring a 57 Chevy that the rear drums were the same from 1937 to 1960 something.

Got the hair up on the back of my neck a few times after I stuffed that big block Chevy in my '55 ........even with new brake shoes, that extra few hundred pounds of weight on the front end........thought she'd never stop!

Much stuff currently, and I now have benches both sides!

Plenty of Hornby Dublo, an RC Challenger 2 currently undercoated, 1/48 Lancaster and the Maus in many bits!

I've just got a tiny A6 cutting mat. I can never find enough space in a hurry to place my regular A2 and A3 cutting mats, so I thought having this tiny one would stop me cutting stuff on the wrong surfaces!

And some Tamiya conical cotton buds - great for removing misplaced dabs of paint.

Needed a break from the Monster Loco today, which takes up most of the bench, so in a small corner, had a go at a Verlinden 1/35 Red Devil I found very cheap on Ebay. WIP, but quite happy so far.

Mission creep strikes again. Too many things going on the bench. The dump trucks got me involved in the engineers again.

That Dennison smock is looking good Jack. Face tones are nice as well.
