Sheer genius!Sorry to hear about your mum mate, that must be very hard.
The name choice seems simple, just remove the S from Stug and become Bob the Tug. :tears-of-joy:

Hi Pete, not strange at all. My wishes too.Welcome back Bob, but sorry to hear about your Mum. It seems a strange thing to say, but I was lucky, my Mum went quickly.

Hi MikeBob, sorry to hear about your Mother and the problems you are having to endure. I had the same with my Father but his was bowel cancer and incontinence plus having to work a night shift did not help matters - come in from work, clean him up, 1 hour playing breakfast time then settle him down with the tv while I caught a few hours sleep then repeat for lunch and evening meal. You do have my full sympathy.
BattleshipBob errrr! you do realise that in some quarters the name Battleship refers to that old woman that used to complain and shout at you for playing football in the street - every community had one :smiling5: .....
And have the Stugs finally been reverted to the stash cupboard, or will we be seeing the occasional one?
Keep us informed of your progress not only on the bench but with your Mom.
Cheers
Mike.
Lots of things I want to say but I don't want the words to sound trite. My empathy and sympathies are with you my friend.Good afternoon chaps
It's been a long time since I last posted, that long I cannot remember?
Thought I would update you all, if you are interested. If not sorry!
The majority of my time has been taken up with visiting mum in hospital. She appears to be slowly deteriorating especially her mental state. The hospital are looking to discharge her into a care home for whatever time she has. I am demanding a scan to see how much the tumour is spreading. It's now almost impossible to have a sensible chat when I visit and it's heart breaking. But nothing I can do.
Now a surprise,a change of modelling as well. I have decided to concentrate on ships and am selling my StuG kits and most of the books. Will have to think of a new name lol
Have done a bit more on the Hood in relation to sorting out the terrible hawses bow and stern. Next first use of milliput to make hopefully new ones.
That's it folks,
