Hi Simon, yes it comes with the rail tracks, base and sleepers. I thought it was a good buy. Won't be doing the Stug soon as I take ages and it won't be fair to the GB. I still have to get over the animal and even the night fighter build which is long overdue.Hi Richard,
not seen that Pz III with rail car before - do you get the rail track as well? Not mentioned on the box
The Stug B is another boxing of the one that a few of us are doing for Bobs Stug GB - will you be entering this one?
Good prices
Peter - hope you plan to post the Dalek build
I will be building the Stug IV from Italeri which I already have fingers crossed.Hi Simon, yes it comes with the rail tracks, base and sleepers. I thought it was a good buy. HI Jakko did you take any pics ?I went to the largest model show in the Netherlands today, and though it was the usual fare (lots of model railroads, large-scale ships, etc.) I did buy some interesting books, a kit and some tools:
Though I already have a Historex punch and die set, this RP one has a lot more sizes, and I also have a Chopper already, but this RP one is a lot more practical and, well, better quality — not to mention has scales marked on it in real, usable units![]()
I wasn’t overly happy with my Chopper II, I can tell you that. It works, but it feels, well … as the American quality it is (apologies to the American members hereI also have a cutter but it was cheap and is pretty useless. Let us know how you find the RP one.
In the Zeelandhallen in Goes, which is, at a guess, maybe 200 km from Roermond as the crow flies. Oh, good guess: I just asked Google Maps for a route between the two, and it says it’s 198 km by the fastest wayWhere abouts was it held?I was always trying to find a model show when i lived near to Roermond
Sorry, no. I didn’t see anything interesting enough to me to want to take photos ofHI Jakko did you take any pics ?
I would have loved there to have been a kit of that when I was on an M48/M60 trip about twenty years ago :smiling3:
Got one of those T44s waiting for paint atm Si. A great kit with lovely detail, but I can see plenty of scope for you to “Simonise” it (fuel lines, fenders, etc.). Did you ever finish that resin one you were working on?

Couple of nice purchases arrived today. Off e bay , the caracal decals sheet for nato ‘hinds’, this will eventually be used on the second minihobby 1/48 hind i bought , the green /grey/ blue czech scheme being the one i want to do. The other bundle was a purchase from John at our own scale models shop. The IBG models 1/72 pzl 23 karas polish light bomber and the hataka polish paint set. The IBG kit is a beautiful bit of tooling , with very detailed interior , crisp delicate mouldings and even a pe fret ( although strangely no seat belts on it ?) I did the old Heller kit as a kid and have always loved the look of this aircraft, so when i saw this and it was only about £11 i had to get it.
Hi warren the kit was from John at our very own scale models shop , £10.67 plus postage ( i bought the paint from him too so the postage was combined ) bargain! I do use ebay quite a bit , I search - model kits , then turn off the newly listed button , then filter it to military aircraft, civilian aircraft and helicopters , and then sort it to ending soonest and sometimes auction only . I just have a trawl through the first dozen pages every day or so then i dont miss much . There are bargains to be found and you soon get to know what a kits worth (ie. what it sells for as opposed to what people ask for it !) cheers tonywhat search parameters do you all use to trawl ebay - I only ever seem to see people selling overpriced kits etc.
