I just love how the figures are all telling their own little stories, eg: 'The guy cleaning his weapon, and the guy sewing his jacket'.. bloody brilliant.

Cheers Gerry, these Russians are highly Bunker trained, but there is some mud, a little can be seen on the boots, it's very light in colour. So maybe the photos don't show it that well .
Sure you will get the details, just keep trying, practice and practice.

This morning I started to decide where the light should go, as I have three for the bunker I've put one at the back where the Officers are looking at the map.
The other two ate as you will see in the kitchen area.

The stove has had the lights in to test, work ok but not as bright as I hoped, so painted the inside of the stove bright orange and a splash of red. Not connected yet, but have been tried and look good.
At the moment the roof section has been glued into place, with some weights to hold the edges tightly.

The roof its self has had some aluminium foil glued to the surface in-between the joists, this has made a great difference.



OH HAPPY DAYS, great when the idea comes together.

I can hear the balalaika. Great stuff. When you close up the front the stray light from outside will be cut down and your lighting will sow more. What voltage are you using for the leds?

Thanks John. The lady at the lighting company said if only having them on for a short time 3 v normal batteries and not coin type because of the flashing diodes would be ok.

Paul thank you, indeed there was no flue pipe , until to day!!!! I had to get the stove to sit on the base so the glue would take. The best way seemed to use the flue pipe to hold down the stove while the ca stook. Once that was done I had to repaint the pipe as constant pressure had removed even the primer. Hopefully it will be on tomorrow. More about that further down.

Thanks Gary. I'd seen a post from John Ballard saying it would help to reflect light on another thread, so decided I would do it in case.

Today saw the continuing of fitting the lights and the upper section for the Sculptamold. Of course in all this turning on its side and back 2 figures decided to try to escape, luckily they gave up and are now awaiting refixing later.


Flue pipe, before it was removed to repaint, it actually came adrift from the stove when I was repositioning the box. Primed again and will be fitted tomorrow.





These are the bunker light cables with the exit hole cut into the side. The side section is to allow a gap for the cables , both these and the flashing lights that are now fixed into the top will be under here.


The above is now covered , just waiting for a spot of glue to dry that ids keepimng the light in place. The dioes are so small they easily fall out of a the smallest hole.
