Hello everyone,
Gardening duties have taken a lot of my time up, but with a few minutes here and there I've managed to finish the Chinook.
The decals are a mix of spare and kit, so please accept my apologies for the few decals that are missing.
Paint was MRP, followed by some shading with oil all finally sealed in Alclad matt coat.
The kit was ok, but every seam needed attention !

Thanks for stopping by gentlemen.

Very nice. I’m intrigued by the roundels on the aft pylon instead of fin flashes.
A very good point. I downloaded the instructions for a different model, which were a little unclear. What I thought was a roundal, was probably the squadron emblem - thus confirming, my total lack of knowledge about rotary winged aircraft !
HUGE pilot in Pic 4
There is indeed, a ghostly something going on there.

Beautifully built and crisply photographed colin , a fantastic machine , cheers tony

Colin,

That really is a great tribute to an iconic helicopter. A top finish.

Very well done indeed.

ATB.
