Hi, I'm Stephen. I'm relatively new to modelling and new to forums. I started building airfix models a few years back after my parents decided that I shouldn't be bored in my flat!! They got me an airfix model and after it lying there for too long, I decided to make it. I was hooked. I began making models, planes, tanks, a boat and then my brother (who's done dioramas himself) said, make a scene, so I did. I then began making various landscapes. From here, I have grown from strength to strength.

Lived for a year or so in Erdington ( mid 80s )- used to visit Eddie Deeley at ED Models ( Stratford Road ) - a very dangerous place to hang out - you invariably left with empty pockets, clutching packets & boxes!

Welcome from a near neighbour Stephen, I'm from Stourbridge just down the road. Whereabouts in Brum are you?

PS Not sure about "good old Brum" though. Wasn't it Mike Harding who said of Birmingham: "If the universe had piles, that's where they'd be!"
