I can't remember the last time I built a Lindberg kit! I was tempted at the same stall by an Airfix "70 years of flight" set for £50, but I don't really need another 7 kits.

I have never heard of them before.
It’s (was?) an American manufacturer whose models tend to look like what they’re supposed to be, but accuracy and detail … shall we say, leave room for improvement even for those with a much lower level of skill than yours.

Ya, Toys'r'us used to stock them...couldn't be better than Bluetank.

Cheers,
Richard aka Wabble

Just arrived from El Greco Miniatures. Really impressed by the quality of Black Crow's products - I got these three for a vignette/diorama. And a chance to practise blending smooth skin tones on their youthful cheeks!

Although theyre all 75mm scale, the girls are dwarvish, I guess - just 50mm from the soles of their big feet to their eyeballs.

And the minotaur is also '75mm', but will tower over them.

Have to admit Bob that i really need to get some more CA that gives a little more time to place things correctly. I've normally gone for the CA gel but there wasn't any available locally last time i needed some. Might have to look into that stuff

Hi Al, how's tricks?

I did a little experiment after it arrived using other so called so cure CA, the VMS stuff won hands down. Allowed me time to get a thinned cocktail stick and move the PE before it stuck, good Stuff, honest

Hi Bob
Those scissors are great. They are superb for cutting the annoying little nibs off a piece of PE. That VMS Flexi CA is good stuff. I do like VMS products. They also do a very thin Flexi CA which wicks into joints beautifully.

Must admit, since using a lot Tamiya masking tape recently...
... And some masking sets, I've often thought of getting some serious scissors...
Nice one Bob :)

I use Surgical Gum Scissors for cutting PE off the fret- very sharp - I used to use a scalpel on a porcelain tile, but the scissors are much neater & easier

I got mine off Ebay <£5 delivered - I have to remind myself NOT to use them for anything else
