Really like the subject, and it is very well molded, but lacks any interior detail in the gun positions and wheelhouse. Not all the portholes are molded in clear either, so will take a bit of work to bring those areas up to the standard of the rest of the kit. Rather disappointing considering the price of the kit.
:tongue-out3:Ernie, were those T-boats produced by the renowned ACME Corp., the Wile E. Coyote favourite mail shop? The question comes from the peculiar torpedo releasing system, which seems designed to have the torpedo to follow the T-boat wake... :nerd:

Getting my coat...:smiling4: Leaving business card...:upside:

I don't buy much but if I do it's a necessity like these two bottles of sponge loose foam that I intend for moss or tree flower buds. The white ine looks good to sprinkle as rough snow or grass flowers.

Yes, I believe they were! :smiling3: A gas powered ram expelled the torpedoes, and the boat then had to quickly turn out of their path. Unsurprisingly, many of these boats were used for laying mines and carrying commandos in the torpedo well and dropping them off shore of areas where they were going to operate.

So this is the last money im spending on the modelling room! Well, there is one more thing in the post :smiling: 20230227_174958.jpg

This is the last thing for the model room, spent a small fortune getting it sorted but i haven't spent much on kits lately! It was20230228_174510.jpg about time i replaced that little brown box although it has served me well.

Mark. I have that exact same compressor and I'm more than happy with it.

Got something very similar last December..... You won't regret it!
I already have one(dont know how i used to manage without it) but what with moving into the modelling room and getting a much bigger bench i felt i would benefit from having two,the living room had better ceiling lighting than the new room, bloody crap energy saving lightbulbs! I remember the good old days when you had a 100w osram burning your retinas.

They were not cheap and probably not worth it for the truck as you will hardly see them when all built up but I thought I would give them a go as I am trying a few things new to me with this model.

Andy.

I do like the idea of these 3d printed decals. They have something over the Eduard PE ones. Personally I'll look at other companies other than Quinta though for obvious reasons.

That looks to be a pretty comprehensive set there Andy!!! I'm sure you would be able to see quite a few of them in the cab when it's done!!!.......Bring them on

Prost

Just got these, the lights are for the Titanic build, and the variable speed drill is for the portholes.

Just arrived on a slow boat from China. Seem modern tanks are luring me away from the WWII stuff lately :surprised:
