Cheers Pete, think I have some, either that or store it in a sealed containerYou could try a coffee filter John. Or leave it in a sealed container and see if it settles.
Pete
Have some coffee filters coming so will give it a try. Each time I've changed the container there's some in the bottom, and the colour of the "soup" is lighter. It will still work even if coloured with paint residue. I’d be quite surprised ifit could be filtered as the paint it’s taken off is dissolved in the IPA.
Took the lot off Jim, including a sprocket! Will try , but I can't see the colour going completely in the IPA leftGlad the IPA worked so well. Model looks totally "unpainted".
I reckon Tim is right in that the paint has dissolved into the alcohol and so won't filter out.
I'll try to filter it Pete, used a large Ice cream tub volume of IPA , would be nice to save someWell, paint settles in the tin/jar before it's sprayed so I wouldn't be surprised if it dis the same after being dissolved. Not so sure about filtering, but it's worth a try.
