discussion Airfix 1/48 dogfight double

Morning all,

This is my latest completed build. The twin-pack was around 75% of the cost of buying the two planes separately.

I started the 109 in early January but it was still a bit cold in my workshop for the airbrush and so it waited for paint. In the end, they both got painted more or less together and were airbrushed in Vallejo Model Air. I think the colours are about right. I was quite pleased to achieve a couple of fairly clean builds (by my standards) so took the pictures before I messed things up with any clumsy weathering techniques!

Great Job Nick. I feel your pain with the weathering aspect. If your worried about the weathering process try using some pastels. That way you can just wipe it off if it goes wrong.
