Here are some completed pics of my build for Andys Japanese WW2 aircraft GB. The build thread can be found here

I've painted the majority of the markings and the "squiggly" camouflage pattern with a mixture of masking, airbrush and paintbrush to avoid decals wherever possible.

Thanks to Andy for coming up with the idea for this group build, it's rekindled my enthusiasm for wingy things

That's brilliant!!!

Simply brilliant!! Outstanding work at that scale..... And I should know being an advocate of the one true scale!

Very well done indeed!!

As you know Andy I am not a wingy builder but I can recognise a well finished model and that looks great, particularly the camo paint.

Andy.

That is really very nice indeed. Great job on the camouflage! And such a tiny little aircraft to!

Thanks very much everyone, glad you like it.

I'm now hankering after a bare metal finish on something larger.

Sorry for being late in on this Andy, work has been absolutely manic this week :flushed:.
The guys have said it all really, that's a stunning paint job on a cracking looking plane,so colourful too:cool:.
You've done it so quickly as well, superb stuff mate, and thanks for joining in on the GB, it's been a pleasure to watch your build:thumb2:.

Jeepers Andy!!! Shunzo would be proud of your camo on his wing thingy...And in 1/72 scale to boot!!! Top work Sir and I can't see a thing there that I could give you a hard time about either. Maybe next time...............

Prost

Thank you all.

I rather wished it had lasted a bit longer. Definitely a sign that I should build more aircraft.
