Have got the cab painted and a gloss coat,I will fit the cab to the chassis when all paint and weathering is complete, front mudguards and bits and bobs are in colour, need gloss coat . Just radiator and the bonnet left to paint but....I ran out of paint:tired: another order up needed and as usual I will end up buying much more than just paint! !
And I managed to drill out the exhaust pipe without messing it up:smiling6:20220111_221347.jpg20220111_221452-1.jpg

So I've got a bit more done, paint arrived so the bonnet and all the bits are painted now, done a wash on the cab, still playing with acrylic washes which do dry very quickly but I have discovered that by diluting some decal fix with water to dampen a cotton bud for clean up I can pretty much use same process as using enamel washes but without the smell or sticky mess I seem to end up with.most of the decals are in place, didn't want to slide off the backing very easy, had to lift them off with a scalpel blade .exhaust fitted, some etch tool clamps on the back, even managed two out of three wingnuts :smiling: once it's all together there's some weather to do, probably a dry mud if I can manage it.20220118_230500.jpg20220118_230545.jpg20220118_230633-1.jpg20220118_230530.jpg
