Finally finished - discovered that there was a piece missing - the numberplate/front bumper - oh well

A size comparison with the Heller Delage.........

The Italeri model is an old model, simple and by todays' standards lacking in detail, but it builds up to a fairly impressive model. I removed all the chrome plating & used AK True Metal Silver. I quite enjoyed the build, but it became a bit tedious towards the end. I think I'm going to stick with matt things for a while...........

Came out well considering you were losing interest in it, why did Bugatti think having a greenhouse on the back was a good idea, maybe they put their tomatoes in there, lol.

Really shows the class difference between driver & passengers - the poor bloke sitting out in the rain all the time

Looks very “Cruella DeVille” doesn’t it. Nice job on an older kit Dave.

Very impressive Dave.

Hi Dave
Great result. I love the glass panels in the roof.

Well you got that one beat into shape as well.
Looks like a beast of a car.

Nice build Dave. What an elegant car too, lovely graceful lines.

Really nice model build Dave.
I think that Italeri did two versions of the Roysle, one of which I think Testors also marketed in the USA.
There was anofher Royale kit by Lindberg of the Weinberger car in 1/24 th scale from way back in the 60's. It has been reissued since by Revell.
All make up into nice models with a bit of work.
