This will be my contribution to this GB. It is the same kit as Tony (yak face) is building.

Being the ProfiPACK version the kit includes canopy masks and some coloured PE. The usual nice instruction booklet.

Just two grey sprues and a clear sprue.

I won't start immediately as there are other things cluttering up the bench but should be able to make a start in a week or so. In the meantime I shall continue to enjoy all the other builds in this bitter sweet GB.

Nice one jim , it looks to be a beauty of a kit . Havent started mine yet so I’ll be watching for any pointers!
Theres a good selection of schemes , which one are you leaning towards ? Because I’m going to have four spare decal options I’m going to use one of them on an Airfix fw190 after ive done the Eduard one.

Nice choice Jim, good luck with your build 👍

Geoff.

Nice Jim.Chair pulled up for this if you please.
Enjoy the build.
Richard

Looks extremely similar to the 1/48 offering Jim. Should be a trouble free build so enjoy it 👍

Eduard, I do like an Eduard kit, nearly as much as an Airfix kit.

Well at long last I've managed to make a start. Things have been hectic recently. I have some ongoing health issues which have taken time visiting hospital and my dear wife managed to break her leg!! Christmas Eve, at my daughter's, she says that she'll bring the granddaughter's Christmas presents downstairs ready for the morning. Slipped on the bottom stair, collapsed in a heap with much yelling and we spent 8 hours at Chester A&E. Suffice it to say that she is now on the mend. Interestingly I have found out that we have a washing machine and a hoover !!! :D

Back to modelling. As Tony (Yak Face) has found the kit is great. Good fit. He managed more of the itty-bitty PE than I did. Cockpit is done and sandwiched between the fuselage halves.

And with the canopy front just dry fitted.

Nice progress, she is looking good so far.
Pleased to hear your wife is on the mend now.

Cockpit looks well, Jim.
Sorry to read of your recent 'Problems'

Wheel your missus down to the Poachers Pocket for a brew. Just remember to wheel her back!

Just catching up, lovely work so far Jim 👍

Sorry to hear about your poor wife, A+E on Christmas Day oow not good 😕. Glad she is on the mend though.

Geoff.

That's quite a dramatic way to celebrate Chistmas eve Jim, hope you both feel better now, take care

Nice progress on the model, have fun 👍

Sorry to hear about the various ailments affecting your family.

That's a good looking cockpit Jim.

Bloody edit timer......

Jim, i forgot to wish you both a full recovery after the Christmas disaster.....

I still think the Poachers Pocket is a good idea.
