Get caught with those in your pocket, and you might have some awkward explanations to make! :smiling3:

My degree was in Sports Science, always felt edgy walking home from lab sessions with two dozen small unmarked bags of white powder or tablets in my bag depending on what LEGAL substance we were testing.

A little 'off topic' but your post reminded me of an incident; about 30 years ago my brother was a customs officer, one day a passenger arrived with 400 cigarettes, he explained to the passenger that the allowance was 200 and so he would have to pay duty on the extra 200. The passenger lost his temper, shouted and swore and tore open the packet, then ripped 200 cigarettes into pieces. When he finished, my brother calmly looked at him and said - Sir, now that you have torn up your allowance, would you kindly pay duty on these 200 cigarettes!

So a slightly late post....

On our family trip the Wednesday before last into London, we each had the opportunity to do something we wanted. In my daughter's case this was to go the Waterstones just off Piccadilly as she has turned something of a book work worm. It's apparently the biggest book shop in Europe with 8 miles of shelves.

I picked this up whist I was there as I thought be a nice memento of the trip despite a certain website selling it for a lot less.

I've heard good things about that book.

And that branch of Waterstones is pretty special.

Thanks Mike. I did have a quick look online and it seemed to get good reviews - I could have got it for half the price on Amazon but I thought why not as a memento and it wasn't that bad for what I paid.

And as for the shop, it is pretty amazing. It was my first time in there.

I may not be doing a lot of modelling at the moment but i am planning and preparing for when I get back into the saddle. One plan is to make a jungle diorama so I just got these from fields of Glory:

They all look good, but got me wondering whether some plants for indoor aquariums may also be suitable. A quick search of the internet and there are some which look likely candidates but it is difficult to tell the size, so i think I may take a trip to my local shop next week to have a look At what they have in stock.

Peter
Hi Peter.Hope the hands getting better.I bought some Aquarium plants a few months ago and looking at the FOG ones id say they are about the same size mate.
All the best,
Richard

So finally made it back to my new paints, gone for some lacquer based ones from Mr Hobby.

The latest thread is Polysilk...no fibres and the weave is quite pronounced and in scale. Now you don't need to rub in beeswax and flame the fibres off.

Cheers,
Richard.
