Cool read Andrew,I may have to stop listening the Al Murray and James Holland podcast...... This was another recommendation.....2nd hand as usual

Yamato is a beast in 350th..... i inherited a RC converted Tamiya kit in '87...... monster, these days theres an extra 6mths lasercut decks & PE to add to the build lolWent and picked up a rather large parcel from the post office this morning from japan, been promising myself a big floaty thing for ages so even after paying vat and fees ive saved about 80 quid :smiling3: that will cover some brass bits. Cant wait to get started on one of them but patience will be needed as the p51 gb is almost apon us.
That's definitely worth £3!!!! As for books they might have to wait. I have far too much on my new bookcase and it's filling up fast.....Cool read Andrew,
I have this, a £3 bootfair buy, 18yrs ago, a 1st edition, tatty as such but signed by Pierre.....
Worth £40-60 now, but I'll keep her
Nick
Love it....
I have "Flames in the Sky" Pierre's take on aerial warfare in WW2.
I'd also recommend Johnny Johnsons WW2 bio....

Oh I don't know Dave.....Another of my 'most wanted' list crossed off - a Sunday DPD delivery - only ordered Saturday morning!
On sale at a well known Scottish Modelshop - at very good price.
I attempted to make this about ten years ago & made a complete hash of the metallic paint. I've been waiting to pick another up at the right price! Not sure about the 3D puzzle diorama & the paints, but the brushes & glue will always be useful!

That Flakvierling crew is showing it's age but the halftrack still builds up nice enough, hoping it gets the same treatment as the Ketten did.My purchases from the Stoke show today.

That Flak was one of the first kits i made on my return to the hobby, thoroughly enjoyed it:thumb2:.My purchases from the Stoke show today.
Andy,Well,I`ve always liked these things for some reason,
They weren`t very good in their initial "Daytime Fighter" role,so were taken off those duties and turned "Nightfightery"...... which they did,a bit better at:thumb2:.
I`m selling my 1/72nd kit,(Which is still available if anyone`s interested!),as i much prefer 1/48 scale for a bit of an easier assembly,so grabbed this off Ebay for £20 including delivery
.
Cheers,
Andy
Yes,good point DaveAndy,
easy assembly? - I'd approach the turret assembly with caution and loads of dry fitting!
Dave
Andrew, I have two different edition of that book, one in Italian dating back to the '60s and an e-reader recent edition in French I purchased last year. They are different... some episodes you can read in the Italian version are not reported in the French one and vice versa. I hope yours is really the "unabridged" edition.I may have to stop listening the Al Murray and James Holland podcast...... This was another recommendation.....2nd hand as usual
Standard advice for any kit from any manufacturer I should think Dave :tongue-out3:Andy,

Speaking from the point of view of a personal battle with this jigsaw puzzle! Made for a BoB GB nearly two years ago.............Standard advice for any kit from any manufacturer I should think Dave :tongue-out3:
