Latest Acquisitions (2022)

Two completely different type of kits I was lucky enough to receive, the figures from my brother in law,and the plane from Rach..... She must've been spying on my posts, because,a while back on Ron's thread I said,"always wanted to have a go at one of these, but in 1/48th that just ain't gonna happen"..... and now it has!! :smiling3: .... and, unsurprisingly, what a MAHOOSIVE box!!! ....

Andy,

Can't help noticing that the big thing has sticky out protrusions from the body....I think they're called wings?!?!

This wingy malarky seems to be catching given my recent purchases!! But mum's the word!! Don't want the dedicated wingy people to catch on!!;):smiling5:

All the best to you and your family over the festive period!!

ATB.

Andrew

Nice pressies so far guys! I already have my 2, but when I went downstairs to throw a load of laundry in the washing machine, these were lying next to the door. I almost died laughing,

I had compensation after a certain bank messed up interest on a savings account, then refused to pay so after I threatened to get the ombudsman they paid me a handsome ££££

So interest free later, its HUGE, building the 1 350 Musashi next

Good morning all

So some nice arrivals already and so here's what I got....

First up these snippers from my wife and son. I couldn't justify them myself but as it was Christmas I put them on the list for the family to get me! Quite how they managed to hack into my account on John's shop and apply the forum discount I'll never know! ;)

Thanks to @Bobthestug , @outrunner , @Tim Marlow and @Ian M for your thoughts on these.

Next up these Flory Washes from my daughter.

Had heard good things about these but then forgot about them until @KarlW mentioned them in his recent-ish Mustang III build and jogged my memory (so thanks for the inspiration). Also thanks yet again to @AlanG for his input on their use and just as importantly which ones not to waste my money on. Added the polishing sticks to see how they work.

Of course as important as the above are they pale into insignificance compared to these!

All the best.

Andrew
