Thanks guys, they were a part of the team event where we finally got a gold since the game was introduced. We clinched it with 3-1 victory against the Indian team which was tipped to be the favorites to take the gold. Now it's the individual events and so far all players have gone past the first round.Great news Richard, nice when a person playing is known to you. Your mate must be thrilled .
Bet you were indeed, and every right to be so Jack .Nice one .That is awesome, Richard.
One of my proudest career moments to date is coming away with a CWG Bronze medal from Gold Coast four years ago with the team I was working with.
Great achievement Jack and well done. The support team is usually not seen but is integral to the whole effort. That is awesome, Richard.

It was Rugby 7s. That was my first multi-sport event and was amazing to see all the various athletes from other sports in and around the Athlete Village. Tough week but really enjoyable!Great achievement Jack and well done. The support team is usually not seen but is integral to the whole effort.
May I ask what sport was it that you got the bronze in?
Cheers,
Richard
